Jeff is a second generation marine engineer. He started his career in Norfolk Virgina at Earl Industries. There he trained as an outside machinist on commercial and government ships. Following this he furthered his knowledge of Diesel engines by working for Carter Caterpillar in the marine division.
Jeff decided to shift his career to the yachting industry, where he worked as a chief engineer onboard various yachts for 6 years. During this time Jeff found it difficult to obtain quality outside services, and realized that there was a shortage of quality marine engineering contractors in the South Florida area. This led him to start Kemplon Marine, to provide the type of service he himself could never find.
